Little dilemma, engine bay finished but unsure on a minor detail.

I've just finished off the engine bay today, i've added it to my project diary and i was going to leave it at that but im unsure on a minor detail...

    It went from this...

To this for a while (that i absolutley hated, but i had all the covers left over from my last astra so put them on)...

And finally to now, where I'm at the stage im happy with it...

    Gloss Black = Dirttttyyyyy Bling

I've lost most of my polished bits polished bits and replaced them with glossy black items, and anything polished i wanted to keep, has been repolished.

The one thing im unsure on though, does the Opel badge on the battery cover look tacky?

I was originally going to order a battery cover with the Opel blaze raised into it but decided against it, and now i can't decide whether to leave it plain or whether it needs that little detail...?

Good job u can spell bought unlike some lol

personally i think all batt covers with emblems look naff - having said that its not as shitty chavtastic (IMO of course) as the VXR emblazened one that someone has on here lol

yours is actually quite subtle and not so naff but i still think it looks out of place

EDIT - I'm thick as feckkk, you meant on the engine lmao

The whole car is opelized btw, even the centre caps. I'm stuck though, at the moment theres no badge on the cover, i placed it on to see...

It just looks plain without it

i think the opel badge looks ok,

would look better without it and without the "built not bought" bit though imo.

I have and Opel grill, rear badge, centre caps, and also the car has a Belgian/Spanish inspiration to it which would wear the Opel blaze, it ties in sure enough but i don't no if i like it where it is on the cover.

BTW just incase, as a member pointed out something similar before was offensive to them...
The 'built not bought' is just a personal theme that lets people know every thing on my car is my own work, theres also one on my install, and i needed a gothicy font to go with the black and polished look.
