    ECU Flashed up Code 22

Just done the 'paperclip test' on the mk3, it flashed up code 22, which apparently is Throttle Potentiometer Sensor (TPS) - Voltage Low could anyone tell me what the cause and fix to this could be? Many thanks!

using a volt meter(ditigal is best)1 of the wires to the TPS should carry 5volts supplied by the ECU...check that this is correct..if it is then the TPS could be faulty..if you get less than 5volts then check all wiring and plugs back to the ECU for poor connections...if the ECU is supplying less than 5volts then the ECU will need looking at
