Not interested. I did find the whole Ferrari celebrating too early thing very though. Just the look on Massa's Dad's face as they saw Mclaren were celebrating as well.

Lewis Hamilton etched his name in the history books as the youngest ever Formula 1 world champion, and Britain’s first since 1996, with a superbly composed performance in the most nerve-wracking climax to the season imaginable at Interlagos on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Briton, who came into the decider with a seven-point lead over title rival Felipe Massa, carried out his task to the letter – keeping his composure in tricky wet/dry conditions, making no mistakes and bringing his McLaren home in the fifth place he needed.
That ensured he clinched the championship by a single point despite a consummate drive to victory by Massa, who did all that his adoring home crowd could have asked of him.
Hamilton’s sang froid under the most intense pressure showed he had learned the lessons of Fuji last month, when an impetuous lunge at the first corner cost him dear and laid him open to harsh media criticism.
But, boy, was it a close-run thing.
A rain shower on the grid had caused havoc at the start and returned to add an extraordinary sting
in the tail in the dying moments of the race.

Hamilton had been running a safe fourth - enough to clinch the title - but like the rest of the front-runners chose to play safe and pit for intermediates.

But that dropped him to fifth as Timo Glock stayed out on dries, and he then lost another place as Sebastian Vettel slipped through as both were wrong-footed when Robert Kubica un-lapped himself.

It all looked lost for Lewis as he followed Vettel around the final lap, and the Ferrari team began to celebrate a Massa championship - only for Glock to fall off the pace as the rain increased, allowing Hamilton to sweep back through to fifth and claim the title despite everything.

    Full report to follow…

Not happy with the result as I wanted Massa to win, don't like Hamilton one bit.

That was the most eventful race I think I've ever seen, especially in the last few laps when some were diving into the pits to change their tyres and others weren't. Personally I think Lewis should have stayed on slicks and gained places there, especially after his performance in Silverstone, but who knows, if he had done that he may have ended up in a wall later on. Good job nontheless, it was never an easy one and certainly shouldn't have happened like that!

Commiserations to Coulthard, gutted for him - shame we didn't see any doughnuts at the end too.

It did make me laugh a little when Lewis was running up to the crowds to celebrate, he went to his brother and gave him a big hug, whilst his Pussy Cat Doll girlfriend was stretching out her arms saying "Come on Baby!" and he just walks off!

What an acheivement. Very well done Lewis

****ing Y E S !!!!! And he won it fair and square, proper racing, proper unpredictability and no marshals screwing about.
