give it some time mate, not everyne's on here every day

why not have a go yourself - there's plenty of info in the Detailing section on here to get you started! A detailing perfectionist would probably slate the finish of your car if its fresh out the factory anyway - probably covered in hundreds of contaminates as most "new" cars usually are...

Hey chap, I'm not big into detailing but I do like a clean car!

My efforts on my car at show time is as follows:

Rinse the car over with water, either from a pressure washer (not too close to the paint) or with a bucket.

Then, get yourself a good shampoo (meguiars is nice) in a bucket of water, use a good cloth, i.e. microfibre or a soft sponge with those noodle things on (thats what I use) and start at the roof working round the car getting lower.

Use a seperate sponge or cloth on the wheels.

Then I use a flexiblade to get rid of standing water, then a chamois cloth to get rid of the rest.

Some people would clay bar here but I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on how to do it!

I then use Mequiars 3 stage on the car, then finish with a coat of meguiars gold class wax.

Not blinging in detail but it looks lovely, I'll see if I can find a pic from Billing.
