    Automatic Headlights?

So I tried searching quite a bit - but wasn't able to find out though if retrofitting automatic headlights is just a simple matter of a new light switch and maybe tech 2 magic? (when you already have the sun sensor due to climate control)

    Thanks anyone

I wouldn't bother mate. I have em fitted on mine as standard and to be honest they are a pain. In the auto mode as soon as you get a bit of dark cloud, they come on then when the sun comes out they go off. Also if you have them switched to auto mode. and they are off. As soon as you get near another car they come on again. So I always have em in the normal position

They sound quite substandard compared to other cars then... shame. Still, means I save some cash, thanks Leedy.

Found also it doesn't use the climate control sun sensor, but rather the rain sensor... so that wouldn't be cheap/easy at all.

    Thanks both

I drive with my lights on all the time anyway, so not something I'd use. My mum's fiesta has them and they're a right nuisance

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

Thanks for the suggestion, I actually saw that and was thinking I might see if I can rig it up to the standard astra automatic headlight switch, possibly also reusing the climate control sun sensor. Would make an interesting project.
