Let Down for Saw 5 (Don't worry, I've not included any spoilers)

    SAW 5

Ok, I'm a SAW fan, and i enjoy the films, but watching saw 5 was painful

The storyline was hard to follow, it was very "here there and everywhere, bit of this and bit of that"

I'm sure if you was to watch Saw 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in a marathon type event, it would make a little more sense, but It's been a year between each film, and it's easy to forget

Also, the 2 main characters in saw 5, look exactly the same, medium height, bit of weight on them, long hair (curtains)
and with the constant flashbacks.real-time scenes it was a very confusing film

After all the other saw films you think to yourself "wow, i never expected that! what a great twist"
For me, i found myself thinking "so, what's the idea?"

Just my opinion, and I'd advise people to not waste the money at the cinema, or make sure you watch all the Saw's before hand, otherwise you will find yourself confused

But all in all.... I'm still going to watch the final one when it;s released (Saw 6)
I think after saw 6 the contract expires

The only confusing thing i found about was, as you say, main characters were very similar. Other than that i think it does a lot of wrapping up, although it's spoilt there's no if's, what's, and maybe's it's all too 'easy'.

There is another one due, as far as i'm aware they filmed them back to back. let's hope they pick up the pace.

Saw 1 and 2 are the only good ones. Saw 5 was just out to be a big gore fest. The story is getting stupid to be honest, can they really drag it out to saw 10 though!

I'd love to know if what we see in saw 5 was planned all through the rest of them or an after thought to make the 5th.

I was quite impressed actually, im not a big fan of the Saws but i aqctually enjoyed this one, complicated admitidley, especialy with the as mentioned problem of the charecters looking identical lol.

I didn't expect that ending either... not as predictable as i thought.

I'm more of a Hostel fan myself so im hoping there'll be more of them rather than Saw

Hostel freaked me out because I can actually see it happening!

Don't get me wrong, 5 tied up a lot of loose ends and was clever, just, wasn't amazing.
