    Battery Keeps Dieing

    Hey

whenever i park up and have the ignition on to listen to my stereo the battery goes flat and i cant start it if i have it on for too long.

    i am running a 3000watt amp and a 400/500watt amp(cant remember what it is)

people have said about a powercap. what is it? what does it do?

    what will i need?

    That's life with those amps!

A PowerCap is a capacitor that feeds subs when they ask for that extra bit of power, won't do anything for your battery life unless I'm missing something? Perhaps a second battery and split charger?

powercaps wont stop your car battery from going flat with the ignition on,

NEVER run your car stereo when the engine is not running, having the ignition on wont charge the battery as its the running of the engine that charges it.
