    What SatNav?

Been debating SatNav for a while now - it's not something I'd use often, but there's been enough times over the past few months where I've been going somewhere I've never been before that I've thought it could be useful.

There's a massive variation in pricing for it, is it truely 'you get what you pay for' or are some of the cheaper versions worth having for occasional use?

what do u want to get out of it apart from point a-b?

the tomtom 1 go, is good for most things, a-b routing, full postcode search and a decent sized screen for around the £100 mark.

navman s30's are good for the money too, same as garmin nuvi 310

further up the range u just get full european use.

Would be good to get postcode search, ability to choose road types, miss this road, go that road etc?

I have a Binatone A430 and like it lots. Unfortunatly my coupe has a heat reflective screen, so I have to use an extrenal antenna (on the parcel shelf) and for the £90 I can't fault it.

It have full postcode, speed cameras and lots of other features, pop down to Argos.
