Help Needed For A Stupid Tevion Stereo!

    hi guys

i recently went to change my standard stereo with a tevion one that i picked up cheap and thought i got a good deal on. but when i went to change it, the iso block on the mk4 astra is arranged like

    12 pin
    8 pin
8 pin or close to that anyways

and the back of the stereo only has a 12 pin end. so does anyone know where i could get some kind of adapter as i want the clock display to work without cutting up loads of wires.

    thanks
    Cory

As above just need an ISO adaptor, thought all stereos came with them these days.

The MFD won't display the radio station or cd track etc though. only time and date.

ha..yeah i had one of these, but the little security bit of it died. that was the only reason for change.

VDO Dayton were an optional dealer upgrade IIRC (sure they had a display case in my local dealership). Thats why they will also work with the MFD.

I think a couple of brands had the odd 1 or 2 units that work with the MFD with the correct wiring. Not sure which units did, but 99.9% sure your one won't
