I know i only posted up for a pic of a sports cat fitted on the VXR as its the same as the Gsi
I have been told not to come back to TMS

We have made a note of your chassis number and details and be rest assured will not be accepting you here for any work even if you wanted to come (which I hope and pray you do not).

    John
    and i Love this bit
I have also expalined that all you really wanted was for someone to create a custom exhaust for your car, a point you knew we weren't able or willing to do for free.
all I wanted for over a year is a Sports Cat that fits to the center pipe
he has told lies about how the weld's i did on the center pipe
I only made it longer an did not weld and pipe inside other pipes

thats not near the end of the pipe
the cones was pushed in and pulled out

no weld just wurth AL1100 on the rim RTV

you should not use that near Cats and be using this stuff its a lot better an has a Life of upto 20 years if you would like i could post off a tube for you to try out
thats why i had no gasket on the rear of the center pipe I used this stuff

The truth always comes out I find.

I was under the car when the fitter used the wurth paste center pipe
    I was talking to you
you can see that the paste was wet an blown down the exhaust john

    said center section

    1. You buy a Milltek from someone else
    2. You say you were never happy with the fit
    3. You fit a different engine to the car
    4. You fit a different manifold to the car (which by your own admission moves the exhaust out by 21mm)
    5. You remove the centre section, cut it and weld in another 21mm section
    6. Cat to centre section blows
    7. You add another sleeve to the centre section (so thats two different sleeves in one pipe)
    8. Cat/centre section continues to blow
    9. You tunr up at our premises with the opening line to Kerry "I have a complaint about your **** product" (Remember you didn't even buy the exhaust from us, have no proof of purchase either)
    10. Despite this I inspect your car, confirm that the rear silencer is faulty agree to replace that FOC and that I'd look at the rest of the fit for you. At this time I said that if the fault was down to a manufacturing fault then it would bewarranty if it was down to poor fit then it wouldn't - you agreed. You demand we look at it there and then but seeing as we were fully booked and have no ramps free i said we'd have to book it in properly
    11. We look at the car and could see the centre section/cat had been fitted over and over again, there was so much paste that it was hard to see the join.
    12. We had a long conversation with the technician about what we could do and we agreed (in front of a Corsa VXR customer) that as you had re-welded the centre section I couldnt warranty that but the issue was the seal to the cat. I said that we could try fitting another centre section to the cat and if we could get a good seal then that was the best we could do - you agreed. After 10 mins we reported back to you that the front pipe was fitted incorectly and that was was causing undue stress to the whole system, we refitted this too.
    13. We fit the new centre, replaced the rear silencer (dspite the fact that whomever had fitted it had used the wrong size bolts causing the join to shift)
    14. The technician road tested it and it was fine, you were unhappy with the fit of the cat so I road tested it for you and you agreed it wasn't blowing.
    15. We handed you a bill for a new centre section, 90 mins of labour to remove the old system, clean up the old cat seal, refit the front pipe, ct and centre. We also spent 15 mins replacing the rear silencer which we did FOC. The is bill came to £250.
    16. You then stated that you hadn't authorised the replacement of the centre section and that you didn't want it. This obviously left us a little surprised seeing as that was exactly what we agreed and in front of another customer - whom has confirmed that is exactly what he heard.
    17. You then sugest that you can get Milltek for 'trade' and how about you send us a replacement which you could get off a 'mate' and we declined, call me old fasioned but we had a few alarm bells ringing in our minds by now.
    18. I confirmed that all of our work is covered by our warranty and if the centre section started to blow then we would of course fix it for free.
    19. You refused to pay
    20. Several phonecalls later to Milltek and theyconfirm we had been more than accomodating and seeing as there was any lack of proof of purchase actually thought we were being pretty good.
    21. An hour passes and you still refuse to pay.
    22. More time passes so I ask you to leave my office and you refuse
    23. I call the police, who advise me that they will come down and escort you off the property
    24. You pay

In 10 years of tuning cars I have never had to call the police to have a customer removed, I have never dealt with someone so wrapped in deceit either. You say you spoke to Milltek direct who referred you to us - they deny that. You agree to a course of action on your car (in front of witness's) and then when its done you deny you said anything of the kind.

You come into our offices, are offensive to my staff with an exhaust that you purchased some years earlier from someone else (but with no proof of purchase) then refit the system, change the engine on the chassis, change the manifold to an after market version which isn't the same as OEM, re-weld a part of it and when it starts to blow expect TMS to just fix it all FOC -well I'm sorry it doesn't work that way.

Remember Millteks official warranty is for the original vehicle only, excludes things like engine swaps and excludes fitting faults or any modifications to the system itself. You have done all of these and yet I still replace the rear box FOC and you still think we are being unfair? Sorry, i can't agree.
It seems to me that John was more than helpfull and infact went out of his way to help you when you were being very childish.
