Fitting A Sub To A Mark 4 Van!!!!!

Hello all, new to the sight, seems a good one too?
Ive just bought a mark 4, 03 plate Astra Van DTI, I was given a Subwoofer yesterday and didnt think anything of it as I have fitted a few to my cars and to others. When it came to finding the loom I couldnt believe how complex it was, I have the Glove Box removed but I cant see how you could feed a wire up through to the battery as its either too tight or it feeds in to some weird lookin plug, any help would be appechiated?????????????????????

u need to drill a hole behind the glovebox, if you opt for the right hand side of the glove box but check in the engine bay you should aim just left of the power steering pump

if u take out the lil tray just to the right under the steering wheel u will find the fuse box.right up underneath there is a rubber grommet.if u have the bonet open i think u can see light thru it.looking from the engine bay its tucked away between the steering fluid reservoir and the suspention mount.its quite easy to find, saves drilling a hole that u dont need to.
when u get the cable thru just run along the back of the engine bay.
    hope this helps
