Replacement v Original GM Timing belt and Water pump?

Can someone share their experiences on whether its better to use replacement parts or original parts when replacing their timing belt and water pump. I am in the process of replacing my timing belt and so far I have gone with the original timing belt kit except for the water pump because the dealer do not have the exact water pump that was taken off my car. So I had to settle for a replacement water pump. Do you guys think its okay to settle for replacement water pump. I am just a bit worried about using replacement parts. The brand is Topran.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

As long as you buy a good quality non-GM part then you wont have any problem as most of these companies supply the parts to the manufacturers anyway. Can see you having any problems.
