    VXR in Cabby

Next winter am hoping to put a bigger engine in my cabby, am thinking of the VXR engine to go in there, so going to get the bigger brakes and that through out the year and then do it all at once next winter.
Just asking is it possible for the VXR engine to get dropping into the cabby or is it more hastle then it is worth?
There is a place near by me called MW Performance, i might just send my car to them and get them to do it but am just asking on here 1st before they go robbing me haha, or should i look at putting a different engine in it other then the VXR? something like a 2.0 redtop or 2.0 turbo or something ?

As you can probably tell am not that clued up on the engine side of things haha

    Cheers Mark

Easy enough if you get G Man to do it !

VXR brakes also easy enough to bung on.... just get saving your money

Would go to GMan peronally, I emailed MW Performance last year about putting a 3.0 in my Vectra and their price was piss taking to be honest given I was supplying everything.

wow! was it really that dear? Well i can do it myself if its just as easy as a straight forward engine swap! ill look into this abit more, see what the engine is going to cost me and all the brakes and whatever else is needed!
eBay my best bet for finding the parts do you think?

oh yeah tom! never thought about that to be honest! Just had a quick look on ebay and there is a engine on there for £950 with just over 38K on it, and its been fitted into a vectra but taken out for some reason! i might just look for a astra VXR thats been hit really hard at the back! good thinking mate, didnt think of that to be honest! Does the intertior fit into the mark 4 astra's ??

i dont think the rears would either to be honest mate, there is only 2 seats in the rear of the cabby. Going to start looking for a crashed up VXR now then! is the corsa VXR and the astra VXR the same engine?
