    Fmic

I'm planning to get my arse out of gear in the next few days and sort out a FMIC to replace the crappy oe one which I'm currently running. I have everything else needed to run stage 3. Regal will fit it for me but I want to buy the part myself.

Can someone who's got a FMIC installed please post a link of the one they bought as there are few on Ebay and I'm not sure which to get. Also which fitting kit, pipes etc.

    Cheers

Regals EDS SMIC is over £500. Compared to the universal ones on ebay is too expensive. Was speaking to chris @ Regal yesterday and he was saying he cant compete in terms of pricing and so is starting to see a lot more of the universal FMICs and is happy to fit them for £200. As for fitting it myself, it may be an easy job for you Danny but I would rather pay somone else to do it!

Trez - cheers for the info mate.

Chris - I think that is the one I will go for as well. can you post a list of the other bits you needed. Cheers.

Madmonkee - how much mate? Pm me details/pics if you can.

£250 -£300 for the intercooler and pipe work
    £200 to have it fitted
    = £450/£500 all in
get the regal one then mate!!

ive got a universal intercooler which cost me about £250 all in and it only takes about 3-4 hours to fit and loads of tea
you can use your turbo to intercooler pipe but just need a up sizer from 45mm to ( 51mm,57mm,63mm) then a intercooler then 4 90 deg elbows and some s/steel pipe and a pipe with map sensor ( i got mine from courtenay for £43 to the door) and come clips the hardes bit is taking the bumper off lol
