    OK, Display Adapters - Again

I have a KDC-W707 HU. I have the ip500 iPod adapter also, which takes up the aux input.

So am I unable to use this?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC99-KEN-DIS-Kenwood-Multi-Stalk-Adaptor-Patch-Lead_W0QQitemZ150304950235QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 150304950235&_trkparms=72%3A1301|39%3A1|66%3A2|65% 3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Or would it require me to ditch the ip500?

    Thanks!

OK, according to this picture (taken from the W707 manual) I should be good to go

My ipod goes into the one labelled "Kenwood disc changer input", and as you can see, the remote is a separate conenction (upper right).

Woohoo! This will be my next mod

    I'll need:

OK, just need some confirmation from someone (AutoSparks?! ).

Will those three work together to give me output to my standard MFD and use of my steering controls? The eBay seller says they won't work together...

EDIT: I received a reply from the seller. He says that if I want both steering controls AND Display functionality, I'll need just two leads. I'd need PC99-X06 and PC99-KEN-DIS. From what I can tell PC99-KEN is just the PC99-KEN-DIS, but without the leads for the display.

    That's saved me £7!

Does anyone know if all the PC99-X06's are the same? Or are they car specific?

What did they cost you together with P&P Harry? I have a setup for my Kenwood which uses an IR transmitter up by the rear view mirror but not the best, it has a habit of maffing the MFD display up (last week the 'TUNER' mode said 'TUNEZ' which is amusing but wrong at the same time!).

Yes you need the 2 leads for diaplay and steering wheel controls but as the seller also said because the display adaptor plugs into the CD changer socket you won't be able to use your ipod adaptor

Sorry I read one of your posts wrong, the seller didn't say that

I still don't believe the display and ipod adaptor will work together though

My Kenwood will work fine with the display adaptor and the iPod adapter, the iPod on mine uses USB...

OK, I believe you :d I'm just curious as to why you think that?

The diagram in my previous post shows a different connection which is used for dispay out. I know I have that because I have checked. My iPod however, goes into the 'Kenwood disc changer input' on the lower left of the diagram.
