    How to remove centre speaker?

    Hey,

Just wondering what tools you used/would use to change your centre speaker. I've been trying for about an hour using a collection of small screw drivers but the screen is just too much in the way, any recommendations? And does anyone know the exact size of the torx screws used?

    About to give up

For anyone interested, I went to an auto-electrics store nearby and after much frustration and the use of many ratchet like tools both screws were removed.

Contrary to what I read on a forum prior, the speaker is nowhere near 4". It's about 2.25", plastic surround of the speaker is a little larger, with screw holes 3.5" apart.

Am going to try fitting a Clarion SRG920C speaker, the smallest car market coaxial I've managed to find in australia for under $150. Looks quite similar to the one in BasilD's dash, so am hoping it'll fit. (Is it the same one?) Although think I might need to widen the hole somehow.
