Thumbs Up Poor Man's Mod on my bargain Astra

Took some of scrapheapchallenge's advice and decided to take the plastic door strips off my car.

So I got to work with the hairdryer and.....

I think it looks much better myself. And it cost no more than £0. Good job, cos I'm skint lol.

OI! excuse me! that's another slap saved up for the next meet Is there any particular advice of mine that you're thinking of which was bad Marti? do share.

Told you it was a cheap but effective mod and it looks really nice as well as being really easy to do.

    Looking good there,

    Kirsty

I'm sure i read somewhere on here that they're pinned on. Hmm

That said, it looks good as in, better than the grey strips on a black car (i have the same problem) but i think i'd prefer the strips colour-matched myself as on another forum i was on before i bought my Astra, i read too many tales of folk removing their bump strips & then having their doors scratched to buggery in supermarket car parks

Hi, it's a Mk3 P reg astra 1.4 merit. I've been told its a rare colour for a model at the bottom end of the range. See other posts for full pics.
