Z20let f23 clutch, once and for all.

So I've been searching around the site and seen a few differnt links and what not. What is the best uprated clutch to fit to the Z20LET, bearing in mind it has to be usable day to day aswel. But also going on a tuned engine thats going to have fun on a weekend.

Most people have said the Helix clutch

    Links and reviews very welcome

Helix & lightened fly for me mate - currently 225bhp on std map and within a month or too should be a bit more lol

used every day and quite a few miles and its easy to live with

not sure exactly how "uprated" if at all the CS one is ....

After a bit of wear i can't see the CS clutch holding up that well as the manufacturer of the clutch wont even guarantee it above the car manufacturers power figures relying on the pressure plate to home it all in does not make a good clutch

Well I'm pairing a C20let to F23 gearbox using a C20let lightend flywheel. Just debating on what clutch still. Where sells the helix ones and what kind of money

seen them on chris astley for £380. Seems a bit pricey compairs to the CS one

From what has been said the CS clutch material is just the LUK one, This is from LUK The BHP mentioned is not factual it was just to find the maximum it would take instead of this being a I said he said thread.

LuK's unique selling position is that we only sell the OE specification
clutches unlike some of our competitors. Unfortunately this would mean
the clutch for your vehicle would only be suitable for 190 BHP. Whilst
the clutch is designed with what we term a "safety margin" and if driven
gently might survive, I suspect you did not increase the power by 90BHP
to drive it gently ! It would obviously be excluded from any of our
    normal warranties.
You may be better talking to someone like Helix Autosport who may be
able to supply you with a performance clutch.
    I hope this helps

ppl are right in what theyre saying about the cs one,as it is only a standard gm clutch with a uprated pressure plate.but we just fitted one to a mates c20let which will be running 300bhp after tuesday, they seem tried and tested around this power and like ppl said theyre only 190 quid compare to a helix 1 from chris astley at double the price
    God bless turbos!!!!
