    Mk3 Van Front suspension

    Hi just got me a mk3 van. Front suspension feels a bit like the shockers are away on it (ship like ride ), but it just passed mot the other day so was wondering if this is normal for astra vans before I go out and buy some new shockers.

    Any opinions welcomed cheers.

    Could be a leaky insert which wasn't spotted on the MOT

    I wouldnt imagine it would be the best handling thing in the world anyway tho

    hi racey i have astra merit van it drive perfect just like car push front wing down let it go if it dose not come up and stop its your struts you may have weak springs go to breakers and get to second hand struts with the springs on and try them if it still dose it check back ones hope this helps

    thats really common, I used to change so many MK3 shockers especially on vams that carry big loads in them regulalry when I was a VX tech. To fail an MOT shockers have to be pretty much falling off the car so it is easy to get bouncy ones through
