    A cautionary tale

Well I've just had a blowout on a set of Vredestein Ultrac tyres which have been on my car for less than 4 months.

If you have adjustable suspension geometry for gods sake please dont adjust it unless you are trained and have proper measuring equipment. I tried and utterly failed. It's a good job it wasn't a catastophic blowout or I might not be available to dispense these retrospective wise words!!!

Moving on, can anyone recommend tyres that are a reasonable balance of performance and longevity?

    Stay safe y'all
