    How Silly

    been thinking recently bout saving up for an sri and just thought id check roughly the insurance on it ad it came out at just under £8000 wth and that is just 3rd party fire and theft haha think ill leave that idea for abit lol.

    That seems abit steep! £8k just for insurance! how old are you, and how long ya had your license?
    Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!

    20 and 2 years lol my mate hu recently passed is paying 3000 for a 1.2 corsa 3rd party fire and theft lol

    when i eventually got my first car (Peugeot 205 1.1) it cost £512 fully comp, with Tesco.com insurance, but that wasn't until I was 21, but i had passed my test at 19

    Insurance is basd on alot of things, like the area you live etc. Some people pay alot more than others.

    it seems a bit of a lottery really, i recently got quoted for my renewal

    870 quid fully comp for a 1.6sxi, im 23 with 1 years NCB, bit steeper than i would have liked but cheaper than the 1200 quid last year!

    yeah i may do,trouble is only got my license when i was 22, which prob doesnt help.
