    Turbo noise

Got a really loud whine coming from my Turbo

It's only 3weeks old, and I'm convinced it's knackered again (3rd one now)

But someone said it could be suffering from oil starvation, I checked the oil and it's below the dipstick, but I'm so pissed off with the car right now I'm not doing anything with it,

I cant imagine topping up the oil and checking the feed is going to get me any results anyway

But am I wrong could it be simply that the oil level is pretty low?

you need to check the oil return pipe to make sure it aint blocked and oil is running through it,was the turbo primed properly every time ?

who fitted the turbo????? you should change the oil and filter when fitting a new turbo and prime it before starting! if this had been done then you should of noticed that no oil was getting to the turbo, and after an oil change you know there is enough in there!!!! sounds bad mate but if its noisey then its the bearings that are cooked and its basicly cream crackered!

Nah Wavey had a look the day and it's funked again

It's ether garrett or fix with a standard turbo and sell the car for something more reliable

    I'm thinking

t3 cosworth turbo and tubular manifold

what else would I need to back that u? as I know it wouldn't be direct fit, and wouldn't run on standard software would it?
