    Smile parrot 3200 bluetooth installation

hi, i have just ordered this bluetooth car kit and would like to know if anyone has fitted one?? i am looking for ideas where to mount the colour console?

has anyone done one before? as far as i know, you just need to link it with the ISO leads that come with the car kit and of course you need to saw off the block where it controls the dash display and steering wheel control?

    thanks.

Regarding the steering controls you are correct You need to seperate the top block from the others.

They are really easy to fit, word of advice would be to remove the glovebox also as it will give you alot better access to behind the dash.

Personally i'd get a autoleads lead "SOT" lead to save cutting the orgional connectors up. I believe this is the SOT-053

i was told the SOT-053 does not come with the 3rd row..correct me if i am wrong. it is a block of 3 rows, 2 of them are ISO standard and 1 is specific for astra. if the SOT-053 does come with the 3rd row, which is astra specific, then i will certainly go for it to save time and prevent mistake!

The display can be mounted pretty much anywhere you like, you just need to employ common sense in mounting it e.g not infront of your speedo.

The only things that will hold you back are where the wires will and wont reach and your creativity.

It definatly comes with the 3rd row just not 100% certain if it's the SOT-053 or 078

I have fitted loads of 3200 Parrot kits, just not in the MK4 Astra
