Engine management light and tc light on

drove to work tues morning ran fine no problems.
when i got in the car fired her up, engine management light came on along with the t/c light, switched it off. Restarted her and the lights didnt go out. car idle is hunting slightly at idle, and it seems to be holding back for a bit before car wants to come on boost.

    any ideas?

Air flow meter or you have a split hose somewhere between the meter and the throttle body..

Also could be one of the many vacuum hoses especially one of the ones that come off the black box on the back of the engine..

Would any one of them faults bring up the same fault codes?

when i get back home, im going to check the fault codes im getting and have a look at the vacuum hoses, when the hoses come of the back of engine, can you normally hear them sucking ?

How much will a afm cost roughly

do you have to buy the whole tube with the sensor pre installed
or can you just buy the sensor?

does anyone know weather the scan gauge, will bring up the definition of the fault codes?
