    Coupe Progress

Just got back from the bodyshop, popped in to see if my springs had settled from the weekend. And boy have they!!

The front tyres are now touching the splash guard, and after modifying the rear bumpstop the back also has a tidy stance. The back could go a bit lower and be spaced out i reckon.

I only took the car in for the flush filler cap re doing but it's turned into a bog job now. Theres no bumpers, no lights, no bonnet, no rub strips, and no sideskirts.

    Anyways heres how it looks:

    FRONT

    REAR

Looking great mate. You leaving the rub stripes off?

Standard bonnet being fitted or is it being changed in some way?

you're not wrong steve. I might end up binning the height adjuster on the rear and leave the rubber spring seat off and just bottom the springs straigh onto the beam, that should gain me another 5-7mm.

You'll need to leave the adjuster OR the rubber seat

I would be tempted to get the springs modded and then have the option to raise it again like i did. £70 from coilsprings.co.uk

Soound interesting. There's still about 25mm on the front so that's not a prob.

So do i send off my springs to CS or do they make me new ones?

Also, i have removed the smaller locking collar off the rears so strictly speaking they're not adjustable anymore

Haha, yeah I know the CF is going, just didn't know if it was going to be standard or a vent cut into the metal bonnet - or if you have new/different CF bonnet to go on

Honestly, i don't know myself yet. I just looked at the CF bonnet the other day though and thought 'Nah'

The morettes need painting and the wheels need tieing in so hopefully when it's finished it won't look so mish mashed
