vaux combo van is it canbus?

just got a new van from work and want to put a set of comps in the doors and want a small amp for them so the question is on the 07 place corsa c combo vans will it use the new can bus system like the new astras or is it just a normal setup like the mk4 was

does anyone know what size fuse it is for the main power to the head unit?

    thanx

The later Corsa C's are canbus for the accessory/ illumination etc on the headunit but for adding speakers and a amp this won't effect you

Definatly not as canbused up as a MK5

    that was quick lol

how do you get to the speaker wires on the back of the head unit are they the usual 8 wires for the 4 speakers or have they made the over complicated

idea is i want to use the original head unit as im not alowed to change the apearance and im not alowed to run wires through the bulkhead so the plan was to use the supply to the head unit to power my amp as it full whack playing test tones it only draws 8-10 amps then as my amp has hi level inputs im gunna use the spair wires for the rear speakers to give the amp the signal

but ive had no dealing with the canbus system so dont know what power there is up there and what speaker wires there are up there either

Standard 8 wires for speakers, on the quad lock type connector like the MK5 though

Radio is fused at 20 amps but i'd still rater take a wire from the battery. You have a entry point on the passenger side through the fuse box then relay box

so the speaker wires are fine then

been told i cant do that at all its cus one lad took the piss and went mad with the stereo in their van so they set some limits to it
id be much hapier taking it to the battery but im working on if it can only take 10 amps on sine waves its gunna take 6-7amps max on music full pelt and it is only gunna be play relitivly quite so a max of 5 amps realisticly

is there a perminant 12v supply and a ignition 12v behind the head unit
