Does the alternator effect the bulb voltage?

    Hey,

    as the title.

see how the batter produces 12v of electricity to the general functions of the car e.g. the side light bulb on the headlight..

if you put your side lights on when car turned off it will be 12v or there abouts but woulf the voltage increase slightly when the car is turned off due to the alternator running it at about 13-14v??

    Thanks
