fk's not low enough on the back?

i lowered my gsi on fk coilovers but the back still looks to sit high, ive seen plenty of other's that sit lower, is it possible to remove the adjusting collar so the spring just sits on the base? If so will this have any ill effect on the handeling?

Yes, but cable tie the springs down to the axel...just so they dont pop out if back end lifts up

never thought of that, thanks, was worried it might effect the handeling but they already wound to the bottom so i suppose im only going down another 5mm or so

should i just remove the bit that wind's up and down the thread's or the whole base? Also am i correct in thinking that with it being a beam axle the toe and camber shouldn't be affected?
