it's the last time i buy a 2nd hand car.
My pride and joy 1.8 16v sport may as well be put down

What's wrong with it?
We'll i've just paid to have the enigine sorted after the timing belt snapped whilst driving which cost £900.
I've just had to take it back in this morning as the Engine Management light came on this morning when i was in traffic and the car went limp. At the same time, i moved off to drive and a noise came from the drivers front wheel when i was turning a corner. When it limped into the work car park, i reversed, and what can only be discribed as a crunching noise started to come from the back drivers wheel.
I've got little to none, brake left at the back and the front problem is being looked into now.
I feel like crying, i've had the car for 3mth and out of that i think i've only drove it for 1 and a half months.
Chin up mofo, I had my sri for 9 days and a drink driver went up me arse, no puns please!!
that took 4 months, but did have the twats insurance to pay for it being put right!!
Get the garage to pay for it, they fixed/broke it last time, say it was fine when it went in, bar the old cam belt....
No warrenty on the caR>?

once its all fixed sounds like theres not much else that can go wrong so happy days ahead!! chin up fella
Sod's law, but it does happen, at least when you (if) you get it fixed, you would have replaced most of the stuff and everything will be new!
Well everything engine wise has been done, other than the management light that keeps coming on when i'm stationary in traffic. The brakes got done last night and everything (so far) is spot on with them.
I can't suss out the problem thats causing the management light to come on when i'm stood still. Is it the common fault that i think jam was going on about in a prev post?
Any help would be great
Cheers for the comments tho guys
