    £160 for two tie rod ends ????

    after one of my tie rod ends ballsing up on sunday i got a quote for £160 today to replce both as the other one is on its last legs too

    is this a good price ?

    its booked in tomorrow to have them done as i need the car for wed

    I would say its a bad price!!!

    Certainly not a bad job to do - all depends if any of the ball joints are seized which is when the angle grinder comes in handy

    Id personally attempt it yourself - defo source the parts yourself - the ones above are the best ur gonna get so go for it is what i say!

    as above, if your willing to put in some time yourself, buy the parts, some grease, wd40 and a grinder and youd still be hard pushed to spend £100 even if you were to pay a mate £50 and buy bacon buitties and tea..lol

    half hour per end £20 quid tracking bill 12 pound each from motor factors.

    If I were closer I would have done it my self for you chap.
