Car Show at Beamish Open Air Museum

I went to a classic car show yesterday, not strictly astra's in fact there was none there! But there was a few classic Vauxhalls. Just thought people might wanna see if few classics. I was a bit peeved off when I put the photo's on the computer cos my camera had decided to use 320 x 240 resolution so there a bit small. Nevermind.
I've got some more photo's that I'll put on tonight including cars from the classic RS owners club.
P.S Beamish Museum is an open air museum with working trams, steam trains and old buildings including an open mine and is located in County Durham. Its a great place and s like stepping back into Victorian times.

    Ford Capri's.

    MK1 Cavellier

    MG

    MK2 Jag

    Frog eye

Can't remember the name but it is a vauxhall believe it or not.

My Dad's 3 Vauxhall Viva's! It was a pleasure to drive one to the show if not a bit scary! They are in mint condition. Not sure why he has to have 3 tho!

    MG

    Le Mans special edition Jag

    No Idea!

Certainly was when the sun was out. I don't mind car shows as long as it doesn't rain!

Ha Ha nice one Ffoeg, yeah I know the HA well. My dad used to have a red one that was from the fire brigade. I grew up with it, it ended up being a real heap! When my dad came to restore it he realised that most of the body work that had rusted was replaced with Quality Street tin! So not very safe.
My dad had also in his youth jacked it up at the back, put 12" (lol) wolfrace wheels on and had dyed sheep skin rugs in the back. Very 70's and not very original.
So my dad scrapped it, kept the number plate and bought a shell for a HA his project is an original HA. That gave him a bug to get the Vivia SL's.

Ohh SL's were the posh ones

They were rot boxes but such great little cars. Ours was a boggo spec 1963 one, in 'bathroom suite' green. I still remember the reg no too - AYT 319B

It eventually got sawpped for a dark blue HB
