    5 stud conversion... pricing up

    Right I'm starting to consider going for 5 stud set up now

    Just need a little bit of help finding out what I need exactly

    -Discs/pads all round
    -Hubs
    -Calipers/carrier
    -5 stud wheels
    -Brakes lines (Optional)

    Am I missing anything off there at all?

    Also are the setups the same as the ones on Zafiras?

    how much do you reon this should cost to buy all the parts needed m8, want to do this on mine.
    can you rely have to much bass? thinkin i need more treble now

    you got disks or drums on the back now?

    cause if youve got drums youll need a new handbrake cable aswell as there a differnt fitting on the end.

    you shouldnt need new brake lines from the front as there the same but again if your coming from drums you will need new ones for the rear.

    also make sure u get the stuff from a mk4 as the mk5 hubs are differnt

    Discs all around mate

    So I think I've got nearly everything priced up that I need

    £20 for discs and pads off ebay front
    £30 for discs and pads off ebay rear
    £30 a caliper with carriers
    Hubs, not sure on the prices
    £10 a 5 stud steely from my local scrappers...

    Roughly £250... will probably sell my alloys towards them, time permitting aswell

    Does anyone know if Zafira discs, calipers, pads etc are the same as those on astras?

    For the amount of work that you're going to do, you may as well upgrade the front brakes to 308mm ones instead of the 280mm that they will be. There is a massive amount of braking difference

    Also, there is a company on eBay called mtec100 and I can higly recommend their discs. I've just got front 308mm and rear 256mm drilled and grooved for £156 delivered and can't fault them
