    Corsa D auto options

    Hi Guys,

    Looking at getting a new Corsa D for my Mum and brother.

    What engines are avaiable in the Corsa D with the automatic gearbox?

    as they seem to have higher tax brackets under this new ripoff tax thing

    Yeah needs to be an auto Craig.

    My brother will only be able to drive auto's you see.

    i take it that the auto uses more fuel than a manual hence the extra emissions for the extra tax?

    I would assume that is the case. Auto's defo use more fuel.

    iirc the 1.2 come with easytronic, and 1.4 comes with auto,

    don't think there is anything else?

    Shame would prefer a diesel auto if possible, but petrol one wont be the end of the world.

    Avoid the Easytronic. It's a piece of junk, changes gear like someone with no arms.

    The plain auto on the 1.4 is a better job.

    HAve the normal auto box on the astra and very happy with it.

    I have heard bad things about the easytronic so would steer clear from it anyway.

    Does the mean that the 1.4 is the only engine avaiable in that auto spec?
