Its the connection on the battery holder that causes the problem... Take your key fob apart then with the back off it, push down on the battery holder while pressign a key and you will probably find it works.

Then you need to re-solder the broken connections between the circuit board and the battery holder and the jobs done.

The battery holder terminals have a habit of breaking as the battery holder does get knocked about inside the key fob. I would apply super glue to the little support posts on the battery holder that rest on the circuit board (usually have a hole and peg combination). This secured it to the citcuit board and you can then re-solder the terminals to make the electrical connection.

I have fixed a few (mine and my wife's and also a couple of members) like this and never had any bother with them since.

It may be a combination of both needing re-syncd and the battery holder problem.

Open the door but then put the key in the ignition and turn it till the light come on, that will stop the alarm.

Try inserting the key into the ignition and turning till ither position 1 or 2 and then press the door open button and take it back out and see if it lock the doon when its closed. If that don't work, try taking the key fob apart and pressing the buttons while pressing the battery holder down, if that don;t work, try both options 1 and 2 together.
