info on bhp/torque of mk3 isuzu lump?

had a look in total vauxhall for power figures but it doesn't list the mk3 (astra F) diesel engines, either of them (the vauxhall one or the isuzu one) - any one any idea of the BHP and torque figures for the 1.7TD isuzu?

    cheers, Kirsty

According to the Haynes Vauxhall diesel engine manual (up to N reg because that's when it was printed) 82 bhp @ 4400 rpm and 124 lb/ft @ 2400 rpm.

I always thought the gm was around 65 bhp and the izuzu was around 80bhp. Not much compared to newer cars, even 1 litre cars have more power.

The 1.7DTi was only 73bhp standard and 160sq/ft lb torque and that was a re-enginered one.
