    Designer Gardens

    Well after our recent flooding, the local councils answer was to give me a contempory water feature .

    There used to be an old beck many years ago, which has been left neglected for 20 years, they believe by clearing this and leaving permanent access to the culvet where it ends in my garden will resolve our flooding issues.

    Anyway, thought i'd share my distress

    I looked at the first picture and thought nice garden, i like the size. Then looked further down and see the digger.

    Not nice, Looks like its nice and full. Workmen dont carewhat they damage these days.

    I have to say i am slightly gutted, i am quite garden proud (the back anyway) and it's going to be permanent, they are going to be putting a metal lid on it.....how attractive

    Not nice, couldnt you put some pot plants on the lid to try and hide it.

    Feel sorry for you Tams, But at the same time is pretty cool to find out you have a little mini cave type thing hidden in your garden. Spot of spelunking later on?
