    rocker gasket

    ok so my rocker box gaskets started weaping oil out on my coupe turbo.its the original gasket a black rubber one but ive been told not to replace with an original part as there obviously no good ,so my question is does anyone no of a better alternative and were from and how much....cheers

    i had this problem i replaced with a new oem gasket and 1 week later its leaking again so i though id but a new rocker cover as it comes with a sealed gasket and still got it on now with no leaks.

    Bang plenty of instant gasket on too (more towards the outer edges as you don't want it in the cams) that'll help then trim the excess off once dry..

    I replaced mine after painting with just a gasket from local stockist, no leaks, no problems, remember not to overtighten the bolts!!!

    I think they way the bolts are tightened and the order they are done up is the issue here, not the gasket.
