Your best off applying a good few layers of sealant. VX paintwork is notoriously soft and it stone chips very easily - I should know

Keep layering up the sealant and it will give the paintwork a really good amount of protection. It wont stop the stones hitting the front of your car but it will stop the paint flaking off.

It's the same colour as mine by the looks of it. This is the best i have found so far - http://www.cardetail.co.uk/sealants/.../prod_101.html

You better get it on before the gritters hit the roads!

    Kind Regards,
    Mike.

I've got 15 layers of the hard pot and 11 layers of the soft pot of Dodo Juice Doublewax on my red VXR and I've stil got stone chips. The only way to prevent them is to have a cover over the front of your car i'm afraid.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

Yes, but with all due respect a sealant is a little bit different in terms of the protection it offers.
