    Thumbs Up genrall questions from new driver new owner

    hello....ive just purchased my second car wich is a 1600 LS MK3 astra
    id just like your feedback on what there like...i know its not exactly a 2.0 gsi but are they quick and is there alot of parts for them. im also looking for a higher spec model astra alloys for them....maybe sri or even gsi....would these fit???

    Welcome Tommy.

    Theres nothing wrong with the 1.6 engines other than he obvious signs of head gasket failure and concerning the body work you just need to look out for the dreaded rot around the rear arches mostly.

    Just keep her well serviced and she should last you a long time mate.

    As for higher spec'd wheels I believe (not 100%) that most are 4 stud fitment and therefore pretty much any higher spec (mk3) model should fit on no problems at all. Don't forget that Irmscher parts are still available for it as well including Alloys

    no pictures as of yet but it seams pretty solid......is the irmsher(sorry if spelling is incorrect) a specialist manufacture for parts for vauxhall because to be honest ive been brought up with a family of fords sooo ive kinda gone on the dark side lol
