Before the remap you really want the following:

Vectra intake breather mod (search the forum)
    Derestricting airbox (search)
    K&N Panel Filter, explains itself
    Catback exhaust

Then do the remap, as you will get the best results from all these mods put together, should see 130bhp maybe a little more and 200+lbft

Thats all the knowledge I have that people here and other places have told me, someone else will add to or fix what ive said

ive got catback 2,5" exhaust, dbilas flowmaster airbox and a tuningbox.. about 180lb/ft and 95hp on the wheels measured on a profesional dyno.. the tuningbox is supposed to give 118hp and 206lb/ft in the engine.

180lb/ft on the wheels should be about 205lb/ft in the engine, so that sounds about right, but my 95hp seems low.. that adds up to about 108hp in the engine. i think a dtuk-box or a remap would give better results.

anyway the car runs great and mileage can get down to 59 mpg (UK).

I would get a decat aswell. Also the standard intercooler is very small, you can upgrade this aswell if you really want and then get it remapped. Not going to be fastest thing in the world. But still decent performance

2.0 dti,s are 98bhp standard!!! seems your going back over in the search for power, running a dyno,d 158bhp out of my 1.7 dti with not a large amount of work done yet apart from hybrid turbo
project smoker is now stepping up a notch check garage for details

if its illegal to smoke until the age of 18 my astra should of been locked up ages ago!

What sort have you done to achieve those figures? What is the 0-60 like? Also midrange gear times?

y20dth is 74kw which is 100,5hp. that is why you will see this car with either 100 or 101hp, but 98 is wrong.

anyway, after my work ive got 95hp on the wheels, measured at a dyno @ one of norways pro tuningshops. they said that would be about 108hp in the engine. they calculate about 14-15% powerloss from the engine to the ground.

i will try a decat also, but your 158hp in a 1,7dti with not much work done seems too good to be true.
