    what primer to use???

    hi ya all i've just rubbed down my spoiler it was black and i want it in star silver!

    do i put primer on it and what is the best primer 2 get for plastic's?

    as i have heard that halfolds stuff aint no good

    you want plastic primer, i think you need grey stuff.

    It may be to late now but seeing has your spoiler was already painted you can get away with priming it.

    Flat the spoiler down with 1000 wet n dry ( use a flat block were possible) fi you break through to factory primer you can just flash over those areas with some grey primer. Let that dry and you wet flat down smooth.

    Give it a good clean and then apply your first coat but only a light dusting coat, then build you at least 2 more coats before finishing off with some clear lacquer

    ok thanks i used primer as i had 2 feather out a few minor chips, so its dry now ready 2 paint one day this week when got time need 2 get the paint first but again aint got a clur where is best for that? my old man said get it for vauxhall

    all of above, but remember, its star silver, so once you have built up the coats, just before you put the clear coat on, give it a drop coat (light dusting of spray diagonal left to right then vice versa.
