There seems to be a huge variety of symptoms for a duff AFM danny.
When mine went I found it would rev up OK early on but then feel like it was holding back or the spark was fluffing. It was the AFM.

Trouble with a duff AFM is that it won't always show fault codes or even a fault light, in fact if a warning light does come up on the dash, it would likely to be the traction control light showing for the duff AFM!

Edit, just saw the temp. sensor bit, trty changing that first as a duff one of these will cause running problems.

What are the readings for the sensors?

Look at TPS 1/2, CTS, and AFM.
