    Direct flights to OZ?

Are all flights to OZ have stop overs?

What about the French airport? Do they do any direct flights?

why would you want a non-stop 23hr flight?

they need to stop for fuel - but there are flights that only stop for 1-2hrs that go to New Zealand, so I guess there'd be similar to Australia as well..
    NOW - Sapphire Black 3dr Astra G

    THEN - Glacier White 2.0Di Estate - 136bhp 1.6 Pineapple Yellow Mk3 - Flame Red 2.0Di Van - Chianti Red 1.8 Coupe - Star Silver 2.2 Zafira - Flame Red 2.2 Linea Rossa Coupe - Titan Gold 1.8 Coupe

9 Years, 7 Astras, 1 Zafira, No Regrets.

I think you might be getting confused with stop overs and refueling / transfer.
All flights will need to stop and refuel at some point eg. emerates stop in Dubai and Sinapore, Thai stop in Bangkok, but this is not a "stop over". You generaly need to swap planes abit like changing trains in Kings cross.
The flight shoud be about 23hrs long.
When i go and visit the out-laws we try to get a lunch time flight out of Heathrow so we land in Sydney in the evening. That way we are tired from traveling, and after a couple of beers it's time for bed ready to wake up around about 5.30am.
    I hope this helps.

We want to make it as easy as possible to send our son to see some relatives in OZ so he doesn't have to have a stop over and worry about getting to and from the airport.

Do they do a flight where you stay on the plane and hey fill it back up and off it goes?

When I was 16 I had to get down to london, to heathrow, board a plane to Tokyo, then get from the airport there to where I was staying which included going on the tokyo underground.

Im sure changing planes isnt that hard :P
Astra is coming back..bigger badder and better
..or is it? Thinking of buying a coupe
