    removal?

will i need to remove the centre console if im to fit 3 gauges in the spare DIN slot?

or can i do it with the console still firmly in place?

you could leave it in place but i would have thought it would be easier to wire in if you took it out,

it is easy to remove, im sure there is a how-to for it,

I'd have thought this was easy to do in place

right, im going to get the gauges fitted next week by a garage as i have no idea what im doing with the wires etc, but ive said that ill do as much as i can then hand it to them to wire them up etc.

so am i best removing the centre console so they can wire it up easier, and therefore take less time and end up being charged less for labour (in theory ofcourse!)

or should i take the console apart and if it wasnt really needed, then so be it?

    thanks

fit the guages you have in the holes and normally its just a push fit back in thats how i did it and theres plenty of room to work behind it so i would leave console on as they can always undo 6 screws and remove glovebox to help with space

thanks. the only thing i cant quite grasp is how will they be able to feed the wires from the consol/back of gauges to the engine bay with everything still fitted on?

gauges in holder then feed wires through hole, then take glove box out and feed into engine bay, check alls working then pop holder in hole, job done
