    Remapping Z20let.

Do you think it is essential to remap after you have put on certain modifications, so that the car works to its full potential?

    I have a:

Blueflame catback exhaust with pre cat replacement
    Irdium Denso Ik20s plugs
    2.2 air box
    FMIC

I no the car will be quicker but will it be smoother as the car doesnt feel as smooth without a map?

    Kev

i dont think it would hurt TBH. even a cs1 would see you close to 240hp + a bucket load of torque. courtenay will recomend a miltec system if it dont get good figures though TBH. a CS1 will just make you hungry for more power... trust me

I think anything will do at the mo. Just want to get the smoother. 240BHP to 260bhp will be good for me.

My problem is that i live all the way up in cumbria so courtney or regal are out of the question for me.

i have similar mods to yours mate, my mechanic have same set up with a courtenay st1 remap, and i drove it, very fast car and quite smooth still..

i got same set up, putting on my fmic conversion beginning of oct, then taking it for st1 remap, it will run sweet, trust me, but as they say, u will want more and more lol
