    Google Chrome

Noticed there's no thread on this so thought I'd point it out. Google Chrome is a new web browser from Google released as beta yesterday evening. It combines the best bits of other browsers with a few new ones. Considering it's only beta the only issue I've found is that it doesn't yet have a java plugin.

It's free to download from here: http://www.google.com/chrome/

For me it loads a lot faster and is as solid as a rock. That's under Vista 64bit with 4GB memory though.

Seemed Ok. But Won't stop me from using Firefox anytime soon.

Not tried it, I find no reason to leave the almighty Firefox.

still in the Beta stage don't forget, so if people who download it actually provide feedback onit then chances are the bugs will get ironed out.

I'll do my usual and wait until it's properly released and has been out a few months... that way the kinks have gone, and it'll all be gravy! No doubt as it's a google product it'll take over the world eventually anyway

Seems alright, very basic though, not many buttons laying about the place or anything.

Also lack of RSS feed support will stop me from using it as my main browser for now. I know it'll probably get added later

The ability to have individual processes for each tab and also a task manager to monitor CPU & memory resources for each tab is a welcome addition. It would be nice if IE and the others would lose their single-threaded approach.
