    resurecting my mk4

i was thinking about buying a new car but im not sure i want to now.

so with regards to that does anyone know where is best to find a new engine? i am going to try my local breakers but is there anywhere else?

also what engines would fit into my car which currently has a x18xe in without too much trouble?

i am aiming to get a reasonable amount of power from my car also so with the engine what are reasonable mods that would work with these engines?

Best thing to do would be replace the engine with the same as you have now. Where in Kent are you?

Yeah go for a 2 litre mate, fairly cheap i would think if you get one from a vectra b. And a little more power than the 1.8
