    panel above the pedals

Hi, Ive been driving around in the mk4 astra i just bought, and im having a little problem with the panel above the pedals. whenever i bring the clutch up my foot touches that panel, and eventualy it pulls it out of the clip that holds it in to place.

anyone else ever had this problem and have any idea of what i can do sort it out, cus when the panel comes out of the clip i cant actuali bring the clutch all the way up

    cheers
