So i fitted the new wheels (no 56k)

Dropped them off at a local tyre place on thursday afternoon, picked them up on friday afternoon. Tyres were swapped, valved up, and balanced for £30.

Fit them on sunday morning, and all i've got to say is these had THE tightest fitting spiggot rings ever!! Dug out the file and sand paper, lathered them in copper grease, and still had to draw them onto the hubs in stages.

Anyways, here's the final result. I'm not 100% sure about them myself yet but i do know i hate the chrome centre caps

I like them, not to keen on the red lip but it may grow on me.

Would look better with some tyre shine on wheels look odd because there blacker than the tyres IMO

    Overall tho looking goood

Tyre..... shine?? Theres a great mother of a spiders web from my wingwirror to my door frame and about an inch of dust covering the entire car so tyre shine doesn't come into my thinking

215/35s, same as on my old wheels but at et38 so i'm undecided as to how much more to lower. I'm tempted to get my arches rolled and go flatout

ITs all a little confused. Kinda DTM style wheels, jap style spoiler, jap style carbon bonnet.

They will look better without the cack chrome centres, the spoiler removed for the new boot lid, and it needs to be lower - by a good 30mm imo too

Lord Nikons hit the nail on the head for me mate, what style are you actually going for?

I think they would look a lot nicer without the red, brave moving trying to contrast red and gold.

I'd loose that B&M sticker too if it was mine as throwing a silver sticker into the mix of gold red and black is just too much.

Back in the Vauxhall fold - Astra Turbo & '82 Merc sadly missed, Two VX220's should keep me happy though
