    Question Wing mirrors?

Anyone have any suggestions for some replacement wing mirrors for my mk3? its the five door hatchback, not looking for anything too trick tbh, just as long as they are colour coded (red)? Anyone know of scottish based companies who may stock a variety or any websites other than ebay that may have a selection?

the mirrors on it at the moment are manual, not electric, would that be possible? the standard grey plastic manual efforts are cheap as chips, could just sand, primer, paint, lacquer, a set of those i suppose??

you can get electric mirrors - some of the higher spec models came with them. All you'd need are the mirrors themselves, the switch, and the door looms (which some cars already have). if you've got the door looms then its a 10 minute job to do both sides. If you've not got the door looms in place, then its about an hour or so to do both sides.

if you have a look in the how-to's then you'll see the how-to for fitting electric mirrors to a mk4.. the mk3 is pretty much identical. As for the colour-coding, again there's a how-to that pretty much covers it

    Thumbs Up

excellent mate, electric mirrors would be a nice addition tbh, i think i will give that a bash, i'll have a look for the door looms, if they are there, then when i get paid i'll get started and keep y'all posted on the outcome
